Papaya cream or paw paw ointment?

Two products, two textures, two jobs. How to tell which you want.

The difference is texture and coverage

A cream is light and spreads over a large area — arms, legs, face, hands. An ointment is thick and greasy by design, and is used sparingly on a small patch. Neither is better; they are built for different jobs.

Which do people buy?

Broadly: creams for everyday all-over moisturising, ointments and balms for small dry patches and lips. Plenty of households keep both and reach for whichever suits.

If it is an ointment you are after

We run a separate site for the paw paw ointments and balms — the P'URE Papayacare range, including a 25g ointment, a 100g balm, lip sizes and a baby range. It is at papayaointment.com.au.
